Chabad chassidim have constructed the presidential sukka for President Shimon Peres. A delegation of rabbonim from Kfar Chabad was sent to address the presidential assignment, including Rabbi Gershon Ochana and Rabbi Binyamin Lifshitz. They also presented the president with 4 minim for use during Yomtov.
The president on Tuesday, 13 Tishrei, came to the sukka with Jerusalem children, who helped decorate the sukka.
Thousands of Israelis are expected to visit the president’s sukka during Yomtov.

Why does Pres. Peres need a Sukka, does he keep the rest of the 613 Mitzvas, does he keep Shabbos and Kashrus etc.
TO SIMON01
Of course Peres needs a sukka – he needs it to be “boyait ba’sukkah”
Though I’m not a big fan of things the Israeli govt does- not keeping 613 commandments does not exempt u from keeping any of them. Think about it. Whatever commandments u can do u do, or what would justify any of us doing anything? I can’t imagine we are all so strictly observant

I can’t imagine we are all so strictly observant- the focus should not be what the other Jew does but rather what u can do to help him light up the world. Once ur focus changes ur answer will change. Kudos to Cbd for having the right focus
#1, we should be glad that he at least keeps this Mitzvah!!!
