Ikea Israel has issued a product recall on a child’s folding tent amid concern it may pose an injury risk to children. The BUSA child’s tent, which has been on sale since June, has a steel wire frame that can break during use, the company said.
This can cause sharp wire ends to protrude through the tent fabric, creating a risk of a laceration or puncture injury to a child playing with the tent.
Ikea said it was aware of reports where the wire frame had broken and protruded through the tent fabric.
Consumers returning the tent will receive a full refund.
