The protests on Wall Street continue to grow. The rallies and their participants are showing no signs of slowing down. Wednesday evening, crowds surged past barriers and NYPD officers moved in to contain the protesters. By many accounts, mayhem broke out.
Officers swatted protesters with batons and sprayed them with mace, according to video from the scene.
Fox 5 photographer Roy Isen was hit in the eyes by mace, and Fox 5 reporter Dick Brennan was hit by what he believes was an officer’s baton.
Both were all right and continued to cover the protests and arrests.
Cops arrested dozens of protesters, but the final tally was not known.
Earlier, unions and students joined the demonstrators. What was once a protest of powerful Wall Street financial firms and banks is growing into a larger movement about the working class, employment, poverty, education, and more.

I never thought I would see this in NYC. The police are mamish brutal and it looks like the crowd was acting very aggressively. If this doesn’t get settled soon its going to get a lot worse and many people are going to get seriously hurt.
i find it incredible that there is only one comment on this topic and that is on police brutality. people WAKE UP!! daily these protests are growing and there is no answer to these crazy people because they have no real tainos. basically they are protesting because the people on wall street have more money than them and it is not fair. the problem is that there are at least hundreds of thousands of young people to whom this sounds like a valid reason to protest and they are getting stronger and stronger. they are liable to cause major damage!!!!! This has been going on for about 3 weeks with no signs of abating.
Like I mentioned to someone who first showed me this video, we conveniently don’t see what made the officer hit the person. Maybe (s)he had a knife or gun? You’d never know from this video.
There are many many agitators involved in this to cause big trouble. They want to over throw the government George Soros is involved. This must be put done before it becomes totally violent. Soros is spending millions to cause violence
#1, stop being a fool. These hooligans are out to wreac havoc on private property and the police are there to protect you and other peoples property. Sometimes police need to use force to quell riots. If you put yourselves in that position, you need to suffer the consequences

I love America. I love Obama. They really do care for the less fortunate. I hope that the coming year brings good judgement so that all our brothers and sisters have enough to survive and eat economically. Oh, my very nice and torah-loving neighbor (of this week) gave me a piece of chicken wrapped in a fancy napkin with a challah roll. That’s all she had left after adding a new floor and swimming pool to her house in Galus. She apologized. Nice.
They DONT care about you. The lib “war on poverty” is a 70 year war which they dont want to get better because they lose the voters.
