The situation throughout Yehuda and Shomron is beginning to heat up ahead of the PA (Palestinian Authority) statehood bid in the United Nations. While the incidents are Baruch Hashem relatively minor, a discerning eye can see the change, the increase in rock-throwing attacks, the Arab parades, and the response of area residents, the Jews.
This was the case on Tuesday when Arabs in villages in the area of Yishuv Yitzhar began marching. The Jewish residents began pelting them with rocks, with some of the Jews moving towards the village, Asira a-Kabila, throwing rocks at homes. This was met by rock-throwing attacks from villagers, the Arabs. Later in the day, villagers from the Arab town marched towards the yishuv. The IDF responded.
Further inciting the situation, Arabs hung a Palestinian flag at an abandoned IDF outpost in the Chevron district. They also tried setting the site ablaze, but were interrupted by IDF forces that arrived on the scene.
Rock-throwing is becoming increasingly frequent and IDF commanders are continuing to instruct troops to use maximum restraint, seeking to prevent an escalation in the situation.

It will lead to most international agencies regarding Israel as acting illegally. For example, Israelis who enter East Jerusalem or the West Bank will be subject to arrest for trespassing, and if the Palestinians pursuade the International Criminal Court to issue international arrest warrants, and Jew who is travelling in a country that has ratified the ICC treaty could be arrested. Effectively, it will isolate Israel and be used to legitimize anti-semitism.
I can only say, may those horrible arabs have a misa mishuna today!
Which also means that it will work both ways and that the illegal arabs will have to stay away from the Jewish areas. This means less stealing, and stabbings.
Emunah we can only hope it works both ways but that won’t be the case.
