Thousands are expected to take part in slichos in Migron on motzei Shabbos (25 Elul) in a showing of support following the demolition of three homes in that community by Civil Administration agents. Tzfat Chief Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu will address the tzibur followed by slichos after midnight. The event is being arranged by the Revavim organization.
The event is being held in memory of security forces killed in the August terror attack on Route 12 in southern Israel, including Chief Warrant Officer Pascal Avrahami (49) of Yerushalayim, and IDF Staff-Sgt. Moshe Naftali (22), of Ofrah HY”D.
Civilians murdered in that attack include Flora Gez, 52, and her husband Moshe Gez, 53, of Kfar Saba; Shula Karlinsky, 54 and her husband Dov Karlinsky, 58, of Kfar Saba; Yosef Levy, 57, of Holon; and Yitzhak Sela, 56, of Beersheva.
