Breslov rabbonim have called for international Tefilla on Monday, 20 Elul, ahead of the gathering of tens of thousands of people in Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
The call for the international tefilla was made on erev Shabbos, signed by a number of rabbonim including Rabbi Moshe Bornstein Shlita, Rabbi Yaakov Meir Schechter Shlita, Rabbi Shmuel Moshe Kramer Shlita and Rabbi Elazar Mordechai Koenig Shlita, the daily HaMevaser reports. The tefilla is for the success of the Rosh Hashanah even in Uman at the Kever of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov ZY”A.
The rabbonim explain much Siyata Dishmaya is required to accommodate the tens of thousands of participants in the Rosh Hashanah event, including major logistical arrangements to ensure the guests are properly accommodated for yomtov. The rabbonim are particularly concerned due to increased anti-Semitism around the world, including such acts in Uman, stating the tefilos should include davening for the safety of the large group that will be in Uman for Rosh Hashanah.
Breslov Chasidim in Eretz Yisrael will begin reciting slichos at 5:00pm with the main event being held in the main beis medrash of the chassidus in Meah Shearim.

Perhaps they should daven that the bones of Rav Nachman, Z’tl, would be brought back next year from Uman and buried in EY so that we don’t have this chillul hashem and waste of tens of millions of dollars repeated again. What is wrong with spending yom tom with your family and saying a kapital tehillim at the kever of any of hundreds of certified tzadikim and chashuve rabbonim buried in EY.
With the rising anti-Semitism in the world, with the threats from the Ukrainian mushchasim in Uman who have threatened violence, and have a long established chazaka of anti-Semitic violence, perhaps it is time to bring R’Nachman to kevura in Eretz Yisrael.
Better yet, why bring the bones when we can daven that he himself should come with all other saints by next year in the physical
