Misaskim was contacted by the Brooklyn Medical Examiner’s Office and the 66th Detective Squad regarding information about a deceased individual that has not been claimed by family for two weeks. It is imperative to identify this individual in order to prevent an autopsy should he be of the Jewish faith.
The deceased’s body was found in front of 450 Ocean Parkway on Thursday, September 1, 2011. He did not have any form of identification on him. As of today, no one has come forward to claim the deceased’s body, nor were the detectives able to identify this individual. The following description was given to Misaskim:
The individual was a white male approximately 23 -30 years of age with auburn hair. He is about 6’5 and weighs 550 pounds. He has an “X” tattooed on the inside of both wrists.
Anyone with information in regards to this unidentified male should immediately contact Detective Talavera of the 66th Detective Squad at 718-851-5603.

Nebach.
I frankly don’t understand why an autopsy would need to be performed with an individual of such a body weight. All would agree that obesity at that level would put a person at great risk of many medical conditions, notwithstanding heart failure. Why mangle a person just to find out what seems so obvious?
What was the cause of death?
6’5, 550, and tattoos. dosen’t sound very jewish
It’s no proof of being Jewish nowadays, but, was he circumcised?
Why don’t they run his fingerprints?
@mommamia
Sometimes the obvious aint so obvious. If this is the person that I believe they’re talking about, he jumped off the building.
why are you speculating? or advising authorities?? The usual ridiculous comments should be halted in this case no?? Whether he “seems” to you to be Jewish or not Jewish…this poor unfortunate soul must have suffered tremendously during his life and now can’t be buried properly. This is so tremendously sad that there is no one that can help him even now by identifying his body. what a tragic situation! Please try to show some compassion and maybe not express every thought that occurs to you.
