Rabin Yahrzeit Rally Canceled

The annual memorial event for assassinated Prime Minister Yitzchak Rabin has been canceled this year, Rabin Center officials confirm. It appears the waning attendance over recent years have compelled the move since organizers do not wish to contend with an embarrassing situation.

Many are pleased over the announcement, for the event has always been a forum to espouse disdain for the religious and right-wing communities.

After the murder in 1995, the yahrzeit was a week-long event, culminating with a motzei Shabbos rally in Rabin Square. Over the years, it has become obvious to all that interest in such events has dropped significantly as the Rabin legacy fails to attract the masses.

  1. Tragically, his legacy was the Oslo nightmare with it’s THOUSANDS of “karbanot l’shalom” as he called them.

    Karbanot they WERE.

    Shalom there is NOT.
