HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita is scheduled to undergo cataract surgery in Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center on Wednesday, 15 Elul. The Posek HaDor was in Shaare Zedek earlier in the week, complaining of general malaise, and he was released after it was determined that he was in good health.
The surgery will be performed by Dr. Bentzion Silverstein, a chareidi physician from Yerushalayim.
The tzibur is requested to daven for Maran HaGaon Yosef Sholom ben Chaya Musha.
