I feel like this happens every year!!!
Of course, who doesnt want to be OLEH bREGAL for Succos to Eretz Yisroel if they can swing it..
Does this include the Breslover who waste hundreds of millions NIS each year flying off to Uman to be near the kever of Rav Nachman? There is somthing very wrong about frum yidden leaving their families for yom tov to go off to what has become a “cult event” when there are som many legitimate tzadikim buried in EY.
#3 there may be million tzadikim burried in Israel but r’ nachman said that rosh hashana is his yom tov and that one who comes to uman for rosh hashana and says tikun haklaly (the ten parts of psalm) he will pull him out of shoil tachtis. and there for Elul is rashai taivois A’ni L’euman V’ishty L’azazeil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
