According to the Asbury Park Press, a man who cops believe broke into Frum homes during Shabbosim has been charged in a 26-count indictment; (all burglaries and thefts in Lakewood).
An Ocean County grand jury on Wednesday charges James K. Mastrangelo, 43, of Carasaljo Drive, with 13 counts each of burglary and theft.
Police believe he targeted Frum homes in Lakewood, on Shabbos when people were not home.
One of the break-ins was at the Kelmwood Shul on Kelmwood Avenue, where a Tzedakah box with more than $200 cash was taken off a wall.
In most of the burglaries, cash and jewelry were stolen, according to the indictment.
Police have said some of the items of stolen jewelry were worth tens of thousands of dollars.
