The London Mayor’s Rosh Hashanah Greeting

livingstone.jpgAs London’s Jewish community prepares to mark Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, Mayor Ken Livingstone has issued the following statement: “Rosh Hashanah is a time of reflection for Jewish people and an opportunity for us to all reflect on how much benefit London’s Jewish community has brought to our city, from arts and culture, to science and business. My very best wishes for Rosh Hashanah to all Jewish Londoners.”

The Mayor will again be supporting Simcha on the Square, a free celebration of Jewish culture, which takes place in Trafalgar Square on Sunday 14 October.
