A new Jewish community and education center opened in Berlin on Sunday, in the latest reflection of the growing strength of Jewish life in Germany and of confidence in its future.
Germany’s foreign minister was among the guests of honor at the inauguration of the Szloma Albam House, which described it as the first Jewish center built in Germany after World War II to be financed largely by private donations.
Along with a synagogue, the three-story, $6.8 million center boasts facilities that include a library and media center, conference center, seminary, youth lounge, a mikvah, and a tourist welcome center.
The Center is run by Chabad.

“and of confidence in its future” Remembering hearing alot of that in the 1930-1940’s.
We should get out of and forget Germany – and Poland for that matter too. Why sohuld we pander to out tormentors?
I’m always torn about this issue. But if we go by your logic, we should get out of pretty much all of Europe and Russia, who were all at one point antisemitic.
This is true victory. Am yisrael chai.
