Riboinoi shel oilem,
Please please………..
Give us some rest…..way too much for one week, one month ………even for one year………..
How about “Tichle shune V’Killeloisehu” with a head start as of NOW!
Baruch Dayan Emes.
my son knows the son~ his father passed away 3 months ago, right after the son’s wedding. sooo sad.
we can demand tichleh shono etc only when we have heard and internalized the tochacha message
Whike heartfelt tefilos are certainly answered, saying to the Adon HaKol “how about” and “give me some rest” is indication how far this galus has effected our outlook. It is not coming to us . . . How do we know, who told us, that “it is way too much.” He is b’etzem tov. He is the Tov v’Hameitiv. How many korbanos were spared through the misos m’shunos of these two kedoshim spanning three generations. Nothing is coming to us as the political climate over the past 40 to 50 years has lead us to believe. Everything we have is through His chesed. Do we deserve because of our mezuzos? Who provided us with the house? Did we earn something because of our tzitzis? Who gave us the clothes? Our tzedakah? Who gave us our parnassah? Our tefilos? Who gave us a contemplating heart and a speaking mouth? I sympathize with the emotional stress. From the loss of three ziknei u’manhigei ha’dor across three continents to this week’s brutal and tragic losses. Nogroup was spared, no generation forgotten. But to demand, make deals? Sorry, b ut I feel this must be said and perhaps above all this is what we need to work on. It is not us. It is the One above who “pulls all the strings.”. Please be mochel me if the words sound critical and harsh. They are not directed at you, but rather at what I see as driving force behind much of our outlook today. Inherently we have bitachon. The environment we live in however effects our emunah which is the expression of that bitachon. Berachah v’hatzlachah to one and all.
#5…In one paragraph you explained the entire reason of life. Amazing.
you know what #5 i find myself saying the same things all teh time… why? and its enough. but i read your comment and i have to admit. maybe you are right! maybe this is why there is so much tzar going around! maybe we got spoiled! maybe we expect to much! maybe our total outlook in yiddishkeit is wrong!
we become so engrossed in our lives and in technology! we lost sight of what is real! we lost sight of hashem! we are trying to understand him and its not our place to try! we just have to eccept! and try to be better and hope that it helps!
i hope that the recent happenings in the jewish world will awaken a hisorrirus that will last this time so that hashem wont need to give us another shtois (kick) in the future!
shuali (#5) Thank you
