7:40PM EST: [UPDATE BELOW] A van carrying a mother and at least 5 children was just involved in a serious accident on Arnold Boulevard in Howell, just near Lakewood Township. Numerous agencies were called to the scene, including Lakewood Hatzolah, Lakewood First Aid, Howell EMS and others. There was initially a child reported to be in traumatic arrest, but Paramedics report that a pulse has been restored. Numerous patients were transported to the Jersey Shore Trauma Center, and others to Kimball Medical Center.
The child who was in traumatic arrest is listed in critical condition, and needs Rachmei Shomayim. (Name for Tehillim will be published as soon as we get it.)
At least three others are reportedly in serious condition as well.
UPDATE 10:00PM EST: Please say Tehillim and be Mispallel for Chaya Bas Esther, who is going into brain surgery at this time. She is in critical condition.

I was following the story of the school bus accident in lakewood the other day and I read the comments from the APP website http://www.app.com/article/20110509/NJNEWS/305090094/Two-people-including-bicyclist-critical-condition-after-school-bus-overturns-Lakewood. As I was reading the comments I was thinking that these people are probably anti-semitic anti frum. I happened to be in lakewood twice this week, i have not been there in about 5 years. I must sadly admit that the writers of those comments really have something to support their claims. I consider myself a good and safe driver. However, during my two trips to lakewood this week I have been beeped at and cut off numerous times. Forget about common courtesy by allowing one to make a left turn, people drive so aggressively that I witnessed a few near accidents. Enough of my ranting , I hope whoever reads this gets the point.
