Two people were shot on Nostrand Avenue & Avenue J on Tuesday evening. The incident happened in front of the Key-Food Supermarket. They were reportedly in stable condition. The NYPD was looking for a suspect who fled on foot, after firing multiple shots at the victims. It is unknown as of this posting, what the motive of the shooting was.

I think this happened in early morning hours. Like 8-9 AM.

Heard the choppers 40 Min ago
i was there! it was so scary. the guys came running in yelling call the cops, call the cops! one got shot in the head while the other got shot three times in the back, i think i heard the police officer saying he had lung damage or something. they said they were walking when a guy in all black started shooting at them. and to think when i heard the shots inside the store i was joking with my co worker that its either fireworks or gun shots.
Oh. I just thought that it was this morning because I saw poilce vans on Nostrand and K at 9:20 AM, and then vans at Nostrand and L at 1:00 pm. So I assumed something happened earlier.
Does anyone know what caused the shooting? Was there a robbery? a personal fight? What?
