A Brooklyn police officer was killed this morning when he was pushed down a flight of stairs by an emotionally disturbed person.
The officer, whose name is being withheld pending family notification, was responding to a call about that person in Boerum Hill.
The officer was tossed down the stairs when he went to handcuff the person, sources said.
He was declared dead at 6:59 a.m. at Lutheran Hospital, sources said.

Is this the reason for all the racket in the night from emv and helicopter which at one point shon it’s light right outside my window flying very low. But i’m not exactly near Boerum Hill.
Very sad, my thoughts and prayers are with his bereived family and police force.
wonder if he went there alone. they should start grouping up bout 3 police for sure for security.
