Julian Assange, founder of the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks, said he holds the names of senior officials in the Arab world who visit US embassies in their respective countries voluntarily “to establish links” with the CIA.
“These officials are spies for the US in their countries,” Assange said in the second part of his interview with Arab television network Al Jazeera. He said the leaked documents in his possession show that Arab officials reveal sensitive information on their colleagues and respective countries.
The WikiLeaks founder said the website would consider exposing the names of the Arab officials only if it would be certain it would not lead to their death.
Assange warned that the revelations may lead to dangerous coups in the Arab world. He added that WikiLeaks plans to reveal some 7,000 documents related to Egypt and its president, Hosni Mubarak.
Other leaked documents, he said, reveal information on the oil industry in the Arab world over the past few decades.

He clearly knows were the real power lies in the world. His message to the Arab leaders is to keep their American dogs off his back or prepare to pay the consequences.

Aryeh, you got a point, let’s see what the next move on the chess board is… For sure, somehow or other Israel will be paying in blood.
Actually part of it may not be a bad idea. I think that the truth about oil, as well as the price of oil, will finally be revealed. Elsewhere in The Yeshiva World there is discussion about FURTHER oil price rises. In a DEEP RECESSION??? Obviously WikiLeaks has something to enlighten us all.
In a DEEP RECESSION???
The NBER declared the recession ended in June 2009, you are about a year and a half behind on the economic news.
5, you can change your name but we still know who you are. bottom line is no matter what some sef serving government official says, we are still in a recession. if you don’t believe it, OPEN YOUR EYES!
#6 mark levin,
The NBER is not a government agency but an independent private organization. From their website:
“Founded in 1920, the National Bureau of Economic Research is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of how the economy works. The NBER is committed to undertaking and disseminating unbiased economic research among public policymakers, business professionals, and the academic community. ”
And #5 yswo is correct, the recession ended in June 2009. It had lasted 18 months, since December 2007. That made it the longest recession since August 1929-March 1933.
