8:50PM EST: Tragedy struck the Monsey Jewish community on Monday night, when a Frum woman was R”L struck and killed by a vehicle.
Sources tell YWN that the middle-aged woman was struck by a van while leaving a a store on Saddle River Road near Regina Road just after 7:00PM. A vehicle (van) reportedly lost control, jumped the curb, and pinned her against the building. Monsey Hatzolah transported her to Good Samaritan Hospital, where she was R”L Niftar shortly after arriving.
Misaskim Volunteers are on the scene and at the hospital at this time.
