A Montreal mother is on trial for being an accessory after the fact in the 2004 firebombing of a Jewish school. Rouba El-Merhebi Faud has been free on $10,000 bail since last year when she was ordered to stand trial. Her son, Sleiman El-Merhebi, was convicted of torching the United Talmud Torah elementary school library three years ago. The judge is listening to police audio tapes Thursday in Arabic, recorded between mother and son in May 2004.
