Rav Chaim Alstadter ZATZAL was Niftar at the age of 101. He was from the Zikney Kapishnetz and was from Zikney Lakewood. He was living in Lakewood for the last 60 years. The Levaya is taking place in BMG at 9:00AM on Sunday morning. His body will be flown to Eretz Yisroel where the Kevurah is scheduled to take place on Har Hazeysim.
UPDATE 10:14AM EST: Due to the fact that he had written a request in his Tzava not to have any Hespaidim – just Rav Yeruchim Olson Shlita and his son said a few words.
The Kapishnitzer Rebbe ZATZAL used to stay at his farm in Lakewood.
May he be a Maylitz Yosher for his wife – whose 100th birthday is today – children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

reb avrohm whitman is a son in law lives on ninth street
they have a farm on brook road
He also had a daughter who predeceased him.
Her name was Leah Wiedermann from Queens.
The niftar KN”H left over great-great
grandchildren as well; so he should
be a Maylitz Tov for them as well.
He was an amazing person, years ago he would drive in on weekdays to daven in Yeshiva using a big old farm truck. he had a policy to distribute tomatoes and zuchini for free to kolel yungeliet because there were too many in peak season to sell. He was a Europeisher yid of the old school, you could see him learning hours before shacharis, and on Shabbos he would walk to yeshiva to daven (a couple of miles each way) until at least 80 years old. He was a close friend to the Roshei yeshiva zatzal, and was truly misridei Dor Hayoshon
