Lublin: Part of Kever of Chozeh stolen


According to the associated press, police in Eastern Europe are investigating an incident which occurred at the Kever of the Chozeh of Lublin ZY”A. Apparently, thieves have stolen an aluminum structure used for placing K’vitlach & Yartzheit candles at the Kever. Police are focusing their investigation on scrap metal shops in the area. There was no other damage to the Kever.

  1. It is time to bring all these kevarim to Eretz Yisroel, plenty of empty land available for kevura for tzadikim.

  2. Eastern Europe is full of tzigane and two bit drunken thieves who make their living (and not a bad one sometimes) by selling stolen metal of any description. Tzigane have been doing that as a traditional occupation ever since they landed in Europe. As rotten a place as Poland is, this is most probably not davka an anti-Semitic incident.

    Sayit: What will happen when one of the governments of surrender gives the land over to bnei Yishmoel? Besides, if it was a tzaddik’s will that he be buried in a certain place, it is not up to anyone to try to move his kever.
