Unfortuantely I do not recall the details, but the story of this Kaliver Rebbe and his suffering through the Holocaust is truly an amazing and perhaps, inspirational story worth publicizing.
Yes he is truly a Tzaddik and very clever.
He and his Rebbetzin were in a hotel in Switzerland a few years ago while I was there with my family. I approached the Rebbetzin and told her,’The Rebbe is a very wise man’. She quickly responded in all modesty by saying,
‘If the Aibishter gives someone Seichel, then he’s naturally wise!’
I met the Rebbe almost 50 years ago in Brooklyn when I was a child. A very wise man, indeed.
