The Miami Beach Community Kollel held a siyum on Mesechtas Chullin this past Sunday night – which the Kollel Yungeleit had been learning for the past two years. Rav Shaya Dovid Kaganoff was Mesayem and Rav Shmuel Yitzchok Brandt said a short D’var Torah on Mesechtas Chullin. The Rosh Kollel then introduced the guest speaker Rav Uren Reich Shlita, the Rosh Hayeshiva of Woodlake Yeshiva (Lakewood). Rav Reich spoke of the importance of each and every ben torah and of the lessons of shmitta and sefiras haomer as an introduction to shavuos. The further away we go from mitzrayim and its belief of man’s control of his world the closer we come to Har Sinai and its Bitachon in the Hashgacha in Hashem.

I think that a big Todah Rabah should be extended to those responsible for bringing such Torah scholars to the community of Miami Beach. I would like to thank R’Yekusiel Stern for his tireless efforts in spreading limud hatorah through organizing inspirational speakers and beautiful Seudos Shlishis, where all community members can partake in the speeches.
I think a huge yashor koach should be extended to the people responsible for bringing down such chashuv speakers. In particular I would like to thank Rabbi Yekusiel Stern for organizing so many oppurtunities for the community members to partake in learning in Miami beach. Also the inspirational Seudah Shlishises that both men an women ca,ncome and partake in the ruchnius of the shabos. Thank you for your tireless efforts of spreading Torah throughout Miami Beach!
