Three men were arrested by police in connection with a string of violent burglaries at Jewish homes across Barnet which have struck fear across the community. The series of robberies started in Hendon at the end of March when three women were held at gunpoint while burglars who had stalked the house ransacked their home.
A week later, just two doors away, a gang burst into a house hit one man with a gun and punched a woman after pretending to need water for an overheating car.
Similar incidents have taken place in Golders Green and Edgware. In April, two masked men armed with handguns entered a house in West Heath Avenue, threatened the occupier and stole property.
And last Shabbos morning, a gang ransacked a home in Glendale Avenue, Edgware after pretending to have a package for the residents.

but there is no reason to believe that this is anti-semitic so much as targeting wealthy people who happened to be Jewish.
It turns out that a Jewish taxi driver who drove Jewish charity collectors round the Jewish houses collecting money etc sold the list of these wealthy charity givers to some east European mafiozos in the UK.
