At 11:40AM EST this morning, there was a fire on the roof of the Yeshiva K’tana in Waterbury. Apparently, maintenance personnel had turned on the a/c units due to the hot weather in the junior high school building, and smelled smoke. They found a fire on the roof, coming from the a/c unit. The Yeshiva was quickly evacuated & the Waterbury FD responded and extinguished the fire. B”H there were no injuries. Besides requiring a new a/c unit, there was no other damage..
