The city’s 311 helpline has seen a slight increase of callers in the past year.
The City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications says the 311 call center received 18,642,545 calls over the last fiscal year, which is about 300,000 more calls than the previous fiscal year.
Officials say the Wall Street Journal originally reported incorrect numbers that showed a near 9.5 percent decrease in the number of calls.
