A NY State Trooper was shot in the chest at approximately 3:00PM this afternoon, but his life was saved by his bullet proof vest. The shooting occurred at the Sunoco Country Store at 515 Main Street in Margaretville, located in Delaware County, New York. Police say the suspect shot the trooper with a small handgun. The suspects vehicle was just located, but a massive manhunt is underway for the shooter.
