Canada: CCTV footage leads to arrest of Shul vandals


cctv.jpgPolice have arrested two people in connection with racial slurs and swastikas spray painted on a Richmond synagogue [as was reported HERE on YW]. Police confirmed the arrests yesterday but said could not elaborate. The Beth Tikvah Synagogue was targeted by vandals April 15, Holocaust Memorial Day. Included in the graffiti was a picture of man hanging from a noose with the word “Jew” painted over it.

The Canadian Jewish Congress commended police for making the arrests and said video evidence recorded by synagogue surveillance cameras led to the arrests.
