I want to let you in on a secret: Yeshivish people can have their identity stolen as well.
YW: Please ignore these people and continue to be the biggest askan that I know exists in the world today (in my eyes).
I can read about identity theft, the weather, and the French anywhere. I can’t read about yeshiva news anywhere.
If you don’t like the news content, then LEAVE.
If there is Yeshiva news of interest, YW does not fail to post it as well.
There is no reason for not posting this interesting news item.

Just because this site is called Yeshiva World it doesn’t mean that the news must be ‘yeshivish’. It is just a news site that contains completely kosher material for the ‘yeshiva world’ to read.
I read this thinking, “Wow! What a great post. So many Yeshivisha people would never get to see such a thing because, Baruch Hashem, we avoid so much of the main stream media. This is great.” Then I thought, “I’ll leave a comment to the editor thanking him.” Then I read tostien’s comment. You most certainly didn’t deserve to be blasted by the Hocker (or anyone else), but you certainly need to be told that you’re wrong. If you’re so frum that you don’t so any web surfing, then you are not here by definition. If you do spend some time on the internet (as we all do) and you are trying to stay from the smut (as I hope we all do), then this kind of post is really nice. Many wives (and husbands) need these reminders. Nothing personal, but I think you made a mistake.
