Monroe, NY – Fire early Sunday destroyed a vacant house at 251 Mountainview Road in the Town of Monroe.

Several fire departments were called to the scene of the 2:30 a.m. blaze including Monroe, Kiryas Joel, Woodbury and South Blooming
Grove.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation with officials remaining at the scene for some seven hours.

The same house was reportedly on fire some six months ago.
