Greenfield Extends Office Hours To Better Serve Community

Brooklyn – Councilman David G. Greenfield has announced extended hours for his district office to better serve the residents of the 44th Council District. From Monday to Wednesday, Greenfield’s office will be open from 9am-6pm (an additional two hours each day), on Thursdays from Noon-9pm (expanded evening hours), and on Fridays from 9am-3pm (open for the first time on this day). Additionally, Greenfield will begin a “traveling district office” program, where along with some of his staff, Greenfield will spend every other Thursday from 6pm-9pm at different locations throughout the district, making his office more accessible. At the same time, the “main” office on 16th Avenue will also remain open.

“One of the first promises we made on the campaign was to make it easier for people to access our district office. New Yorkers work hard, our office will work just as hard,” said Greenfield. “Keeping our office open longer and more often, creating evening hours and taking our office on the road, are three immediate and important ways for our office to serve the people better,” Greenfield explained.

Councilman Greenfield will be working out of the second floor of the Georgie building located at 4424 16th Avenue. The phone number is 718-853-2704. Greenfield encouraged constituents to call with any problems they may have. The locations of the Thursday evening traveling district office will be announced soon.
