London’s mayor says that President Donald Trump shouldn’t receive a state visit in Britain because of his “cruel” policies on immigration.
Sadiq Khan said Sunday the U.S. president should not get VIP treatment when he comes to Britain later this year because of his “ban on people from seven Muslim-majorities countries” and his decision to block refugees from entering the United States.
Khan said that “in those circumstances we shouldn’t be rolling out the red carpet.”
He spoke one day before British legislators are expected to debate a proposal to downgrade the planned state visit. The debate was scheduled in response to an online petition calling for the honor to be rescinded.
A state visit usually includes extensive pomp and a stay at Buckingham Palace.

Ignore this self centered Muslim who in the past has praised some very questionable characters. He’s a typical politician looking for some attention particularly because he hasn’t done anything since he came to office. He’ll always live in the shadow of Boris Johnson. Unfortunately we Londoners have to suffer a do-nothing mayor.
Coming from a Moslim mayor I’m not surprised.
I wonder what it will take for Europe to wake up to their own pending demise. They are clearly ignoring the alarm bells ringing. The bells toll for them.
To Nos. 1 and 2
And I guess the Jewish speaker of the House of Commons who also ruled that Trump would not be allowed to address the British Parliament should also be ignored and is simply an attention seeker. You don’t seem to realize that countries around the world are reacting negatively to our new leadership. The President has appointed some really quality leadership at the Departments of State and Defense. He should let them, along with the VP, handle foreign affairs and keep his mouth shut.
