YWN regrets to inform you of the Petira of Reb Mordche Friedman Z”L after a long illness.

Reb Mordche was a longtime Hatzolah member (known as KY-18 and B-318), who was heavily active, running to save lives day and night until he took ill. He was a tremendous Askan who could be seen daily in the hospitals neighboring with Kiryas Yoel – bringing sick people food, arranging meals and sleeping quarters for family members at hospitals. He served as the Chaplain to the Orange County Sheriff Department, and the NYST Chaplain.

The Levaya is scheduled for Motzei Shabbos in Williamsburg at 11:00PM, at 152 Rodney Street.
