[YWN PHOTO LINK BELOW] Brooklyn – New York City Comptroller John C. Liu along with Joe Lazar visited the Charedim Matzoh Bakery in Boro Park on Thursday morning. Besides the two, a group of Lazar’s supporters were on hand as well.
The Comptroller was given a tour of the bakery, and explained how hand matzoh is made. He was given a fresh box of Matzos
Joe Lazar was endorsed last week by John Liu in the Special Election for Brooklyn’s 44th Councilman District.

Please my dear brothers all the chashuva Iden, I beg of you is you wish to have an individual representing us as the councilman of our district VOTE for Mr. Ken Rice. I speak in the name of many prominent and chashuva Rabbonim who say that there is nothing that Mr. Lazar or Mr. Greenfield will do to help our community especially with Yeshivas. For both of them are being indorsed by both powerful politicians who hate the Yeshavas. Mr. Bloomberg supports Mr. Greenfield and their is no way Mr. Greenfield will stand up to him. Mr. Sheldon Silver is supporting Mr. Lazar and we all know that Mr. Silver hates to do anything that will help the Yeshivas. We do have a better chance with Mr. Rice a independent republican on the ballot. I beg of you my brothers as I did when I asked you not to vote for Bloomberg who just played a two face liberal that he truly is with our Chashuva Rabbonim. It didn’t take him too long and already he shows signs that he doesn’t need us. Yehi Razon avinu sheboshamaim that all of our eyes should open and we will select the individual who will truly help our community. Omen.
