Brooklyn – Mayor Michael Bloomberg will campaign with New York City Council candidate and education advocate David G. Greenfield tomorrow, Thursday, March 18. The Mayor and Greenfield are set to visit Congregation Anshe Sfard at 6PM. The Mayor, was recently elected with 75% of the vote in this Council district, will be meeting voters and discussing why Greenfield is the best candidate to represent this district in the New York City Council.
In announcing his support for David Greenfield, Mayor Bloomberg noted that Greenfield spearheaded a number of key initiatives that positively impacted not just the neighborhoods in this district, but neighborhoods throughout New York City. Mayor Bloomberg cited Greenfield’s leadership establishing the new third party vendor program, through which thousands of non-public school children in New York City now receive free tutoring services through the federal government’s Title I program.
“David Greenfield is an independent and innovative leader who is adept at identifying issues and solving problems,” said Mayor Bloomberg in his endorsement. “Through David’s hard work and tireless advocacy, thousands of non-public school students throughout the city now have access to free tutoring services paid for through the Federal ‘No Child Left Behind’ Act. David Greenfield has a proven record of accomplishment as a community advocate, and has a bright future ahead of him in the City Council. David Greenfield will be an outstanding City Councilman, and I look forward to working together with him in City Hall to address the issues that are important to all New Yorkers.”

Before everyone goes crazy, Bloomberg also endorsed Felder when he ran for State Senate. Bloomberg doesn’t just throw his support behind someone unless he truly believes that that person is worthy and capable.
I know that David Greenfield sincerely cares about klal yisrael and I’m so glad that real NYC politicians are behind him. He will really help our community go far. May Ha-shem bless him with much bracha for all that he has done, is doing and is committed to do for his fellow yiddin.
Somehow, this is Dov Hikinds fault, I’m just not sure how.

Fault? This is a good thing! It can’t have anything to do with Hikind.
Greenfield: This July and August 95 degree temperaures wiil prevail. A hundred thousand frum jews includung children will not have a place to swim to cool off. The goy politicians take care of crime and the city. We don’t need you for that. The reason why your financial patrons never mentioned this to you in case you really want to know I will tell you. It’s so obvious and simple but you didn’t realize. It’s because they have pools in their summer homes. So now you know.
