The entire Moscow Kehilla is buzzing with excitement over the upcoming visit of the Rosh Hayeshiva Harav Shmuel Kamenetsky shlit”a and the Rebbetzin Shetichye who will be spending Shabbos Vayikra as guests of Yeshiva Ohaley Yaakov and the Moscow Community Kollel.
The Rosh Hayeshiva is leading a delegation to be mechazek the mosdos in Moscow which are run by Operation Open Curtain.
The group members who departed Tuesday evening from JFK, are also bringing with them hundreds of pounds of kosher lepesach food for the Moscow Kehilla donated by the Landau family of Landau’s supermarket, Rabbi and Mrs. Rajchenbach and other sponsors.
The Rosh Hayeshiva will be giving various daily shiurim including the main shiurim in Yeshiva Ohaley Yaakov on Wednesday evening – one for men and one for women.
On Thursday night there will be a chanukas habayis in the Yeshiva for a new dormitory wing which is being dedicated by Rabbi and Mrs. Yaakov Rajchenbach,of Chicago IL.
