Los Angeles, CA – YWN regrets to inform you of the sudden Petira of Rebbitzen Sarah Rochel Schochet A”H (65) after suffering as massive heart attack a few days ago.
Rebbitzen Schochet was a teacher in many LA schools including Bais Yaakov LA. Her husband is Rav Ezra Binyomin Schochet Shlita, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad.
She is the mother of

Mrs. Hadassah Spalter, Los Angeles;
Mrs. Yehudis Farkash, Los Angeles;
Rabbi Avrohom Schochet, Los Angeles;

The Levaya will take place 8:00 p.m. tonight Wednesday, February 24 at Yeshiva Ohr Elchonon Chabad, 7215 Waring Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90046.
Kevura will take place in Eretz Yisroel.

what is the difference between a heart attack and a massive heart attack? seems like people only have massive ones these days.

I usually do not have the time to write comments, but it hurt me that all that was written here was about the definition of heart attack. Mrs. Schochet (as we called her) was a brilliant woman and mechaneches. She was extremely passionate in her tafkid whether while she was a principal or when she was a teacher. She will be sorely missed.
Did she live in Toronto about 35 years ago? She may have been my teacher in Bais Yaakov, seventh grade.
