New York – A new survey found a small section of the well-heeled upper East Side is the safest neighborhood in the city.
Those living between Fifth Ave. and Park Ave. from 77th St. to 84th St. are the least likely to be crime victims in the city, according to WalletPop.com.
The area also boasts one of the highest median home prices in the country at just over $2.6 million. The average household earns just under $5 million.
There have been several high-profile crimes in the area.
A jeweler was murdered last month during a heist on Madison Ave. between 75th and 76th Sts., and Realtor to the stars Linda Stein was slain in her apartment on Fifth Ave. between 77th and 78th Sts. in 2007.
