Vancouver – U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade was involved in a three-vehicle crash after leaving Vancouver, B.C., on Sunday morning.
Authorities say the vehicle transporting Biden was not hit, and that the Vice President arrived safely at his destination.
The crash occurred when the last vehicle of the motorcade rear-ended the vehicle before it, which then crashed into the next vehicle in the line.
According to multiple news reports, former U.S. Olympians Peggy Fleming and Vonetta Flowers were slightly injured Sunday in the collision involving the van they were riding in as part of Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade.
A statement from Jay Carney, Biden’s communications director, said that the van was carrying members of the official U.S. Olympic delegation, and that Fleming and Flowers sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital as a precaution. They were evaluated and released, the statement said.
Carney said Biden’s vehicle was not involved in the incident. No details of other vehicles involved were released.

With the rate of accidents his motorcade gets into, one might think that Biden himself is driving.

that means that this is the FORTH time his motorcade got into an accident, this is completely nuts, what on earth is going on?

Republican VP Dan Quayle became the piñata of the media because of one (possibly set-up) public mistake, yet the media have ignored the multiple accidents and the plethora of mistimed and mistaken statements coming from the mouth of this uninspired, corrupt, intellectual midget who is standing next in line to the WH.
perhaps this is a lesson for him putting down Cheney about terrorism & terrorist attacks.
