The rumor mill is churning right now about a “big, damaging” New York Times “bombshell” story that supposedly features some ruinous dirt about the personal life of Governor David Paterson.
Elizabeth Benjamin at the Daily News reports that it will be far worse than his previously acknowledged inappropriate behaviour.
Paterson was selected as running mate by then-New York Attorney General and Democratic Party nominee Eliot Spitzer in the 2006 New York gubernatorial election. Spitzer and Paterson were elected in November 2006 with 69 percent of the vote, and Paterson took office as Lieutenant Governor on January 1, 2007.
When Governor Spitzer resigned in the wake of a scandal, Paterson was sworn in as governor of New York on March 17, 2008. As Governor of New York, Paterson has reportedly received lower approval ratings than any other New York governor has received; despite these ratings, Paterson will run for Governor of New York in 2010.
The NYS Lieutenant Governor is Richard Ravitch.

Maybe the “bombshell” will be one of real impropriety. Then you will not print it. So why say it now?
The New York Post printed a story about him just a couple of weeks ago. And the New York Crimes is just reporting it now? Shame on you New York Crimes!
