The NY Daily News reports: White House officials have told the Justice Department to consider other venues for the 9/11 terror trial that was to be held in lower Manhattan, the Daily News has learned.
The decision came after Mayor Bloomberg and other politicians across the state railed against President Obama’s plan to try Khalid Sheikh Mohammed in Manhattan Federal Court.
Attorney General Eric Holder now has to think of other places where the trial could take place, officials said.
It was not immediately clear if the reassessment means the trial will definitely be moved out of the city.

As far as this directive is concerned, the President should be reopening Guatanamo Bay and not covering up for his booboo. But, I think the real reason why he did it is because he is afraid of Kirsten Gillibrand being voted out next year and the Gitmo trials in Lower Manhattan would be made an issue.

This is no solution.
As long as they are wrongly given Constitutional rights as if they were aprehended in a robbery by city police, the venue will not matter.

Why can’t it be on TheFan, or some other station.
Sports is all over the place, where can we hear talk radio, not to many places.
And even harder to find is solid conservative talk radio.
For example in the morning, we have Joe Scarboro who is very much a liberal, no matter how conservative he tries to make his career in congress sound.
When you hear him attack Bush for his response in Iraq as a “failure” when it wasn’t or hear him support other liberal ideas, it becomes obvious he is not the conservative he claims to be.
Obama is trying to make it look like he is listening to the people without actually doing so.
REACTION, I doubt that Mark ever voted for Obama.
