As the United States and her allies continue to ponder possible stepped-up sanctions against Iran, Iranian officials have announced they plan to limit future cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors and they are forging ahead towards increasing the volume of enriched uranium being produced.

Iran’s official state-run news agency released defiant statements, adding Tehran is capable of standing firm against its opponents, speaking of producing 250-300 tons of enriched uranium annually.

Media reports from Capitol Hill indicate the White House is beginning to “lose patience” and may be leaning towards increased sanctions, by most accounts, far too little far too late.
