Governor Jon Corzine promised to find answers by Christmas to New Jersey’s new billion dollar budget shortfall.
The outgoing governor said he learned about the Garden State’s worsening financial situation when he returned from vacation earlier this month.
Corzine would not give specifics about how he’ll fill the wider gap, but he may freeze payments to schools, hospitals and municipalities until he leaves office in January.
Then, it’s up to new governor Chris Christie to find solutions.
Corzine lost his reelection bid for governor on November 3, 2009.

I Guess it took him a Vacation to St Barts to find there’s a problem. It be interesting to see How he plans to fix the Budget Crisis in less then a month…
Ok, so he believes the answer should come in less than one month, all of a sudden. Of course, his solutions will involve getting MUCH less for your tax dollar. These Goldman Sachs guy should have been carpenters. They really know how to put the screws to the OTHER guy, and not themselves.
