Attorney General Defends Decision To Try 9/11 Case In NYC

ksm2.jpgAttorney General Eric Holder is defending his decision to try the self-professed September 11th mastermind in New York City.

Holder is testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee today, where lawmakers are likely to spar over his decision to send Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four others to New York for a federal trial.

In his opening statement, Holder urges people not to be afraid of the prospects of having the trial in New York, because he says he has confidence the world will see Mohammed for the, “coward he is.”

Critics argue the trial will give Mohammed a stage to speak hateful words about democracy. Holder says concerns are misplaced, because judges can control unruly defendants.

  1. they are all a bunch of cowards masquerading as liberterians they should treat them like the bachurim are treated in japan there they would never be tried

  2. For whatever it’s worth, we should call our Senators and Congresspeople and protest.

Anyone want to start a “Take it to Kansas” movement? How about restoring NY’s Homeland Security funding before putting this tremendous burden on NY?

And this doesn’t even take into consideration the fact that in a non-military trial setting, our intelligence personnel will be called upon to testify, revealing top security matters.

Another good job by our dear president.

  3. Dear Yeshiva world editor,

  4. If this guy would just take a shower, shave his chest hair and comb his hair back, he might actually look respectable.
If he turns out to be handsome after he puts on some nice clothes, the jury might acquit him. Don’t be surprised.
