Two NYPD officers suffered minor injuries Tuesday during an accident involving the Vice President Joe Biden’s motorcade in Manhattan.
It happened at 49th Street and 10th Avenue in Manhattan.
Officials say members of the Vice President’s advance team collided with a livery cab.
The Vice President was not involved in the accident.
The police officers and the driver of the livery cab suffered minor injuries.
Vice President Biden was on his way to tape an episode of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.”
This was the third accident involving Biden’s motorcade in the past week. On Nov. 11 in Washington D.C., a pedestrian was killed after a crash involving the vice president’s motorcade. Then on Monday a sheriff’s deputy was injured in an incident involving Biden’s motorcade in Albuquerque, N.M.

Lack of consideration, and of life in general by the entire administration.
Don’t you think you are over-generalizing just a bit? Motorcades, the responsibility of the Secret Service and local Police, have been provided for the VP for decades. This has NOTHING to do with the current administration.
I’m not a fan of Obama/Biden but it’s unjust to hold them (and the “entire administration)) responsible for every bad thing that happens.
Maybe they should check out the drivers. Are they new to this job? (the motorcade has been around for decades, but I assume they do get new drivers every now and then) Could they be terrorists in disguise? Hey – anything’s possible these days.
