Two Charged For Stealing Copper Tubing From Bungalow Colonies


fpd1.jpgSullivan County, NY – Two men have been charged in several thefts of copper tubing at bungalows in the Town of Fallsburg.

Benjamin Hopkins, 49, and James Everett, 56, both of South Fallsburg, were charged with 12 counts of third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal trespass, misdemeanors.

Police say they stole copper tubing underneath several bungalows at a colony in South Fallsburg.

Hopkins was released on an appearance ticket and Everett was taken to the Sullivan County jail.
