PHOTO LINK BELOW: Dozens of prominent rabbonim involved in kashrus in Europe and Eretz Yisrael are meeting in Brussels for a two-day marathon conference addressing kashrus issues. It is the Rabbinical Center of Europe’s third such conference. The event, European Kashrus Conference, is being hosted in the Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Representatives of kashrus agencies from Europe, Eretz Yisrael and elsewhere in the world were on hand on Sunday for the opening of the event.

The RCE provides services for over 700 rabbonim and communities across Europe, the prestigious delegates were welcomed by the RCE’s Rabbi Aryeh Goldberg, who thanks the leaders of the kashrus industry for attending. The event is being held under heavy security in cooperation with local law-enforcement authorities.

Some of the participants from Eretz Yisrael include Chadera Chief Rabbi Dovid Verner, Bnei Brak Chief Rabbi Yehuda Leib Landau, member of the Chatam Sofer badatz, and other keynote speakers, including R’ Yehuda Fink, a veteran member of Israel’s kashrus community.

Other participants include representatives of OU-Israel, Belz, and KF (London) to name a few.
