Today, Yated Ne’eman endorsed Mayor Bloomberg’s bid for re-election. Established in 1987, Yated Ne’eman has become a major source of information for the orthodox Jewish community and (according to the Bloomberg campaign has a circulation of over 100,000).
Yated Ne’eman called the Mayor, “…a true public servant who has proven, time and again, that he puts the best interests of the voters, as he understands them, above partisan political and ideological agendas or personal advantage.” They went on to say, “We believe that the economic challenges ahead, and Bloomberg’s proven record of honesty, independence and accomplishment justify retaining him as the city’s mayor for a third term.”

Here in the Jewish community, we don’t count noses in formulating Halacha. We look toward our Gedolim–that’s why they’re called Gedolim.
The Igud Horabbonim, The Agudas Horabbonim, and the Hisachdus Horaabonim are not fringe groups. They are the groups who we depend on for Kashrus and Halacha.
Rabbi Levin is an activist whoicises many of their decisions. He is not a Posek himself. To bring up his name in this concept is irrelevant–a “Red Herring.”
