6:30PM EST: (Click on image to ENLARGE) FDNY has responded to the westbound Prospect Expressway, north of Church Ave where a 20′ x 20′ section of the retaining wall has fallen onto the roadway.
There are no reports of injuries.
As per NYPD TMC, all westbound lanes of the Prospect Expressway in this area are currently closed. Expect heavy delays in the area.
DSNY was requested by FDNY for roadway clean up.
OEM and DOT are responding.
The NYPD has called for a Level 1 response to Church Avenue and Ocean parkway for crowd control.
